We are looking for a highly qualified, Director of Memberships Sales at an exclusive luxury club near Livermore, CA. The Director of memberships will be in charge of overseeing the sales team and building membership sales.

The proper Membership Director will have 3+ years of leadership experience in building business pipelines, selling resort memberships, selling F&B packages, and building a strong client base.

  • Sales Director Salary: $90K-$100K Base + Commision

What the job is all about:

  • Schedule sales calls to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and executes sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing rates
  • Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes
  • Conduct tours of the club
  • Establish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts as assigned by the Sales Director and sales plan
  • Accurately forecasts revenues and tracks bookings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of commissioned sales experience preferred
  • Previous experience in leading high performing multisite sales teams
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business
  • Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
  • Supports membership sales at the club which includes recruiting and selection of team members and on boarding of new hires
  • Conducts product and pricing reviews with individual properties to identify opportunities for revisions and adjustments
  • Responsible for developing and implementing lead generation, retention and marketing strategies at a national, regional and course/club level
  • Create an environment that leverages team synergies and produces a proactive sales culture
  • Utilize company measurement systems (financial and CRM) to effectively analyze and manage company performance for membership sales and retention and develop plan to react if necessary
  • Responsible for communication of performance and key strategies on a national, regional and individual course/club basis through conference calls and sales meetings
  • Provides sales training to regional team, operations team and sales team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
